Falcon Aviation Phone System Upgrade Tomorrow August 4th, 2008

What's Happening?

The current VoIP phone system in Peachtree City, GA which operates all the locations (except PDK) is being relocated to the Dekalb-Peachtree location in order to expand our system and bring the Atlanta flight base up-to-date with the rest of the the Falcon system.

In order to accommodate this expansion, new T1 circuits have been installed in both Peachtree City and Dekalb-Peachtree locations which will be activated during this same time period.

All Falcon phone lines will be out of service beginning around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4th, until about 3 p.m. while the equipment is transported and re-installed at the PDK location. These times are approximate so all contact will need to be through your CFI directly until our systems are back online.

Who will be affected?

Anyone that attempts to call the Main Falcon Phone Number...
770-692-1887 during this time period will not receive an answer and may be disconnected or told the number is not in service. This number will be returned to the normal state and all extensions active once this upgrade is complete.

New Phone Number...

Along with this phone system upgrade, the Dekalb-Peachtree Flight Base will now have a new phone number. Once this number is known, we will publish via our web site and through MyFBO Online Scheduling.

This number will eventually become the primary phone number over the next 8 - 12 months. To avoid further disruptions in service the 770-692-1887 number will be forwarded to this new number during this transition period.
